I’m a Montessori teacher with over fifteen years of experience working with children. For most of my life, education has been more than just a profession—it has been a calling, a curiosity, and often a challenge that continues to shape who I am.
I currently work with Upper Elementary students in a Montessori environment, where children are navigating one of the most fascinating stages of development. At this age, they begin questioning the world, searching for fairness, building friendships, and forming the foundations of who they will become. Guiding them through that process is both a privilege and a responsibility I take very seriously.
Montessori education found me at a time when I was searching for something deeper than traditional schooling. What I discovered was a philosophy rooted in respect for the child, independence, responsibility, and the belief that education should prepare children not just academically, but for life itself. The Montessori classroom is not simply a place where children memorize facts—it is a community where they learn how to think, collaborate, and understand their place in the world.
This blog was created as a space for reflection. Teaching comes with stories, lessons, frustrations, and moments of joy that rarely make it beyond the walls of the classroom. Here, I share my experiences as a teacher navigating the realities of education today—the beauty of watching children grow, the challenges teachers face, and the conversations that often go unspoken between educators, parents, and society.
My goal is not to point fingers or offer perfect answers. Instead, I hope to create a place where honest conversations about education can happen—especially within the Montessori community.
Because teaching is not just about lessons and curriculum. It is about people, relationships, and the responsibility of helping shape the next generation.
